Merry Christmas
Just a quick final newsletter of 2019 to see out the decade and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
Looking back ProcessIT has had a great year. We have welcomed several new Customers, done some major updates for a couple and many small efficiency improvements for others. Our inhouse development of LEADS continues, with many new features and having built a new Web-Site; OurLeads.net and the ongoing feedback is excellent.
Microsoft’s November patch caused major issues for many, as it broke Access applications, causing users to see a “Query is Corrupt” message on perfectly functional systems! Fortunately, this was resolved relatively easily by rolling back the update and awaiting the December fix.
All in all, it’s kept us pretty busy, but we ask your help to introduce us to other Businesses that we can assist to automate their processes, save them time and money, and help gain a competitive advantage over their competitors. So please pass our contact details to them or send us theirs by reply. Remember, we offer a free initial Consultation with no strings attached, so there is no commitment required.
Tech Tip – 2020
In the New Year support for Windows 7 ends on January 14, 2020. Read how to get a free upgrade to Windows 10 in the Tech tip of our previous blog post. Office 2010 will also reach its end of support on October 13, 2020, so still plenty of time to upgrade if you haven’t yet.
And finally, please take this opportunity to check and confirm that your backup strategy is covering all your critical files and is indeed functional. Read a Tech Tip on Backups here. I suggest that you test to confirm that you can indeed restore 3 of the files you have edited this week?
And finally, a little Christmas Gift – a Discount Voucher to help get you started on a new project in 2020…
Until next Year,
have a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year…
Regards,
Brian Henderson & James Dickinson
