LEADS will help you send targeted newsletters or Sales offers, it will manage your Contacts list and allow you to identify your key influencers that may be able to refer you to potential new Customers. LEADS helps you manage a “Suspects” or Prospects list to seek referrals to and tracks your sales progress with detailed statistics and graphs.
What about my Sales Team -can I share my Contacts with them?
Yes! LEADS Pro is what you need. This has full synchronized shared data stored securely in the cloud, so your team can see the progress each Sales-Person is making.
What’s New in LEADS Version 5
We’ve come a long way since the early days of LEADS. We’ve grown and created numerous new features, and our focus has now pivoted to improve data analysis, visual feedback and ease of use.
We have focused on improving the Newsletter tool, as well as a Customer screen revamp, to provide a cleaner experience for LEADS users with smaller displays.
Newsletters are a key component of the LEADS environment and deserved a dose of extra development time too. New Newsletter Features Include:
- Email Filtering – Now you can filter out any emails that you have noticed always bounce or perhaps certain mail servers that think your legitimate mail is spam! (Not pointing any fingers Xtra).
- Select from existing Outlook Account – Direct feedback from our Customers asked us to enable Account selection. Many people have email accounts for specific tasks such as ours sales@processit.co.nz or support@processit.co.nz. When you send your Newsletter from LEADS, you want to select which Account they are sent from. Now you can! LEADS now has a simple drop-down-list to select your preferred email Account.
- New Filters – Select a list of your Leads with precision, using the new Newsletter Filters. Some options include selection of a date range for when the Leads were entered, their Status, Rating, Account Manager and more!
Not using Outlook? We have got you covered with a set of Export tools. Select your Leads to email then export the list or copy them all to your clipboard to paste into your preferred emailclient.
Newsletters have always created an Activity entry for ever Lead you send mail to. Now LEADS lets you choose to mark that Activity as Completed or not. If not Complete, then this Activity will appear in your Activities Due screen as a reminder for you to follow up on the Newsletter run.
Customer Screen fully reworked to make key information available at a glance and:
- Reducing page scrolling by left aligning The Customer status bar
- Minimise clutter with a new Hide/Show Details button that stretches the Activities to the full screen width for a more informative experience.
- A new Lead/Customer Status of “Partner” has been added as the direct result of Customer feedback.
- Individual Leads/Customers can be opened in their own Tab for easier navigation by using the “To New Tab” button.
- Efficiently tidy up with a new “Close all Customers” button.
OK but it must be Expensive if it does all that?
Not at all. LEADS is FREE to start with and evaluate, for up to 40 Contacts. Once you go over that you simply pay a small $5.70 per Month for a Single User or for Multi-Users on multi devices just $12.70 per Month, per User, per Device.

Tech Tip
Dealing with Power Outages
Recently a tree got blown over and hit the power lines in our street. This took out the electricity supply to our office, and the computer I was working on shut down immediately, losing a few hours of concentrated development that I had yet to save! While this is not a common occurrence, and I should have saved interim changes more regularly, it was not a good result, so we studied our situation and found the solution.
UPS or Uninterruptable Power Supplies.
These devices contain backup batteries and plug into the 240V wall outlet. Then you plug your Computer and / or other devices into the UPS. When the Mains fails the Batteries kick in and the UPS generates the 240V you need to keep your critical equipment running. Additionally, most offer inbuilt surge protection to save your Critical devices from nasty voltage spikes!
You need to have a UPS that’s big enough to run your Equipment. To work this out Read the Labels on your Computers Power-Supply, Screens and any other critical devices you need to keep running. Record the Wattage for each, then add them together. This is the Power that you need your UPS to deliver. Then you need to consider how long you want to run during an outage. -Do you just need a few minutes to save and shutdown, or do you want to work for hours? This determines the Capacity of the Batteries needed to run the UPS.
ProcessIT now has three UPS’s. One protects our Fibre Modem and the VoIP “Landline”. This will give us reliable Internet and Phone for about 5 hours, so no missed Customer calls!
The other two run our networks Router, Wi-Fi, NAS (Network attached Storage) plus Computers and Screens. These devices use more power, so we have planned for running only about 2 hours with these.
ProcessIT can also help you with your UPS planning and purchase too. Just reply or Contact us to protect your devices.
Until next time…
